Aerial Survey

Survey Banne

Using todays most advanced UAVs, both fixed wing and multi rotor, we can provide <10cm accurate three dimensional models for GIS purposes. These models can be used to calculate volumes of aggregate, produce accurate ortho-rectified photographs, overlay areas into Google Earth or export the model information to any 3D file type for manipulation by the client.

Note that this process required accurate ground control to be surveyed prior to the aerial flights and UAVServices is proud to one the only companies who can offer both ground survey control points AND the aerial imagery to complete the services offered. This means UAVServices is the only phone call you have to make.

Traditional survey methods require a site shut down and this means production loss. Our aerial method can usually be done without any interruption of site work. In fact some clients don’t even know we have come, done our work and gone!

After years of working in Alberta’s diverse conditions, we know that one UAV can’t possibly be expected to function at all sites. This is why we have numerous fixed wing and multi rotor UAVs each specifically designed to fly in varying conditions and environments.

By clicking the following pdf file link you will be taken to a new page. Please allow a few minutes for the pdf to load. On this new page you will see a 3D file that can be manipulated, rotated and even zoomed by clicking and dragging your mouse. This gives an idea of the three dimensional relism created by this process. Alternatively the file can be downloaded directly to your machine by right clicking the link and selecting "Save target as"
